Welcome to Third Grade!
Dear Parents and Students-
Last week we compared and contrasted rocks and soil in Science. And we had a visit from River Quest that explained how they drill for shale underground. In Social Studies, we started to review Chapter 7 with a study guide. We will be reviewing next week in class and our test will be on Wednesday, February 29.
In Math, we started the 7 Tables. The students made and practiced a multiplication matching game in class. In Language Arts, we practiced the comprehension skill of Drawing Conclusions from a story. We looked for clues in the story that helped to explain the author's message. We are continuing to practice and master adjectives and will finish our practice next week.
